This election year, all nine Seattle City Councilmember seats will be up for election with seven districted Councilmembers elected to four-year term and the remaining two at-large Councilmembers elected to a two-year term.

Candidates Forum: Thursday, September 24th, 2015 at Garfield Community Center from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, where the two candidates from each race will be answering more questions in person.

SHSC sent a survey to City Council Candidates, asking 8 questions, including:

• What do you know about the unmet basic human needs in your district? 
• How has race affected your life? 
• What strategies do you see as the most promising to create and preserve affordable housing in Seattle? What steps would you take to make those things happen?
