2009 Voter Information Guide

This Voter’s Information Guide aims to assist residents of Seattle and King County who care about helping their community meet their basic human needs.

This year, SHSC is providing voter information from candidates in the race for Seattle Mayor, Seattle City Council (positions #2, 4, 6, and 8), Seattle City Attorney and King County Executive.  Our coalition members developed a set of questions for each of the candidates as it relates to homelessness, affordable housing, early learning, hunger and violence prevention.

As a non-profit organization, the Seattle Human Services Coalition does not make endorsements or recommendations or show any preference toward any candidate.  Each candidate was invited to respond the set of questions developed by our coalition members.  Their answers were not edited.  This effort constitutes nonpartisan voter education allowed under state and federal law.
