Your participation and membership in the Seattle Human Services Coalition is what enables all of us to work together toward our common goal of shaping public policy to meet basic human needs.  Your membership dues are critical in ensuring the Coalition's continued health and success.

 

With renewed awareness that "we are all in this together" spreading across our communities, our collective action is more important than ever.  Let's ensure that we are working together to ensure that our communities are Investing in People First!

>> Agencies & Programs
Agency membership is for organizations who share SHSC's mission of helping Seattle and King County residents meet their basic human needs and want to participate in advocacy efforts with others who share this goal.  Each agency member designates individuals, in addition to their Executive Director, who will receive SHSC advocacy alerts and updates.  To ensure affordability and flexibility, agency membership is based on a small percentage of an agency's operating budget.  (Dues calculation below) 

 

Agency / Program Annual Operating Budget (AOB) Dues Rate

=> AOB between $50,000 to $2,000,000                     AOB x 0.1%
=> AOB over $2,000,000                                              AOB x 0.05%

 

>>Individuals

Support from the the community is increasingly important as we all work together to ensure that ALL residents in Seattle and King County are able to meet thei basic needs.  If you are not part of a human services agency or organization, you can still make a meaningful impact on our local community by advocating through SHSC.
